Request deletion by email

Overview

This page explains how guests and operators can remove their BLEU account and the profile information we hold for that account. If you need help after reading this page, use Contact & support and describe your request as “account deletion” or “privacy request” so we can route it quickly.

Delete your account in the BLEU app

The supported way to delete your BLEU account is from the mobile app while you are signed in. Open the app, go to your Profile (or account) screen, scroll to the account actions, and choose Delete account. Confirm when prompted. The app will remove your BLEU profile from our systems and sign you out on that device. You can install the app again later and create a new account if you choose.

Before you delete

Deletion is meant to be permanent for that account identity. If you have active bookings, payouts in progress, or open support cases, resolve or export anything you need first; deleting the account may limit access to history and receipts in the app. If you are a vessel owner or operator with listings or Stripe Connect onboarding, contact us before deleting if you are unsure how closure affects payouts or compliance records.

Sign-in email required

In-app deletion requires an email address on your BLEU profile. If you do not have an email on file, the app may only offer to sign you out. Add or verify an email in account settings if you can, or use the contact option below to ask us to process your request with the information you used to register.

If you cannot access the app

If you have lost access to your device, cannot sign in, or the in-app flow fails, contact us through Contact & support. Include the email address associated with your BLEU account (if known), your full name, and a clear statement that you want your account and personal data deleted. We may ask for reasonable steps to verify your identity before completing deletion, to protect your account from unauthorized removal.

What we remove

When your account is deleted successfully, we remove the user record tied to your BLEU identity, including profile fields such as display name, phone, and account identifiers used by the platform. Content stored only under that identity (for example, reviews you wrote on vessel listings) is deleted together with the account where our systems are designed to cascade those records.

What we may keep

Some information may be retained where the law requires it or where we have a legitimate need that cannot be fulfilled without keeping limited records—for example tax, accounting, fraud prevention, chargeback defense, or safety investigations. Aggregated or de-identified data that does not identify you may also be retained. For more detail, see our Data retention and Privacy Policy documents linked below.

Third parties and device data

BLEU uses service providers (for example payment, messaging, analytics, or cloud hosting). Those providers process data under their own terms and may retain certain records as required by law or their policies. Deleting your BLEU account does not automatically delete data stored only on your phone (such as cached files); you can remove the app or clear app data in your device settings if you want a clean local copy.

Related policies

Your privacy rights and our general practices are described in the Privacy Policy. Retention periods and exceptions are summarized in Data retention. For all other legal terms, see Terms & Conditions.
